Infants, Children, and Adolescents Program
Overview
The program on Infants, Children, and Adolescents within the Center for Mental Health Research on AIDS focuses on and supports neurobehavioral and psychosocial studies involving infants, children, and adolescents that are infected with HIV, affected by HIV (such as born to an HIV+ mother or living in an household with an HIV+ person), or at-risk for HIV-1. These studies can be at the level of the individual, family, group, or community both domestically and international.
There are two specific areas of focus within this program:
- Consequences of HIV Infection (9A-ASAC)
