In February, Sue Murrin joined NIMH as Executive Officer in the Office of Resource Management.
Ms. Murrin previously served as Assistant Inspector General for Management in the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of Agriculture. In this capacity, she managed a staff of more than 70 members, led long- and short-term planning processes, oversaw Office-wide policy development, and was responsible for a broad range of tasks related to budget, IT, human resources, contracts, and procurement.
Prior to her work at USDA, Ms. Murrin held positions within the Office of Management and Budget, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Transportation, demonstrating her extensive knowledge and experience overseeing the administrative operations of government agencies. She received her education at the University of Michigan, with concentrations in English and political science.
