How to Become an Outreach Partner

The Outreach Partnership Program is an outreach initiative of the NIMH with support from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and in collaboration with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The Program enlists Outreach Partners representing every state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Outreach Partners are selected through a competitive process. Positions for Outreach Partners were awarded in 2005, 2006, and 2007. The 2008 solicitation for Outreach Partners from the following states or regions: North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, and Southern California is now closed. Awards to successful applicants will be made prior to the end of July 2008.
