What is osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis is a disease that thins and weakens your bones to the point that they become fragile and break easily.2 About 10 million people in the United States have osteoporosis. About 50 percent of women and 25 percent of men age 50 or older will fracture a bone due to osteoporosis.3
