P50 Centers Program—Full-Scale Specialized Center Grants
- (P50) SILVIO O. CONTE CENTERS FOR NEUROSCIENCE RESEARCH Provides a unifying framework for the pursuit of basic neuroscience research relevant to mental health and mental illness. A CCNR should conduct novel, integrative, and hypothesis driven research on a highly focused and well defined neuroscience question that is significant to the mission of NIMH.
- (P50) TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH CENTERS IN BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE (TRCBS) Supports the translation of work from basic behavioral science research, and relevant integrative neuroscience research, to pressing issues regarding all aspects of mental disorders.
- (P50) SILVIO O. CONTE CENTERS FOR THE NEUROSCIENCE OF MENTAL DISORDERS Supports integration and translation of basic and clinical neuroscience research on severe mental illnesses.
- (P50) INTERDISCIPLINARY DEVELOPMENTAL SCIENCE CENTERS FOR MENTAL HEALTH (IDSC): MATURE CENTERS Supports integrative research environments conducting innovative cross-disciplinary investigations of neurobehavioral developmental mechanisms responsible for psychopathology in childhood and adolescence.
