TMS & Brain Activity

Join a Research Study: Enrolling locally from the Washington, D.C. metro region

How does brain activity impact transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) response? This research study is enrolling healthy adults. TMS is an effective treatment for some mental health conditions but does not help everyone. Help us find out why, by becoming a research volunteer.

Participants must:

  • Be ages 18 to 35 years
  • Be right-handed

This outpatient study includes:

  • Brain imaging (MRI and EEG)
  • Brain stimulation (TMS)
  • Assessments
  • About 4 visits

Compensation up to $480 is available. This study is conducted in Bethesda, MD.
