Information on Clinical Studies for Patients and Families

Is a Clinical Study the Right Fit for Your Child?

Children go through many phases of development. It can be hard to know if a child’s behavior is a result of normal development or if it is a sign of something that requires additional attention. While all children experience fear and worry, for some children, this anxiety can be chronic and impair their daily lives.

If you feel like your child’s anxiety significantly affects how they function at home, in school, or with other children, our pediatric anxiety study may be a good fit for you and your family.

Current Studies on Anxiety

We are currently seeking to enroll children with Anxiety Disorders. We invite you to read the below brochure to learn more about our current study.

What is a clinical research study?

A clinical research study is often called a clinical trial or a protocol. Children must meet the study’s eligibility requirements, and parent and child must consent to participate in a study. Learn more about Clinical Trials at NIMH.
