Program Overview

The NIMH Office of Management (OM) provides strategic leadership, direction, oversight and consultation on the business and management operations in support of the Institute’s scientific mission.

The Human Capital Section (HC) of the Workforce Management Branch (WMB) provides technical, advisory, administrative, and management support services in Employee Relations, Performance Management, Reasonable Accommodations, Benefits and Leave Administration, Workplace Flexibilities, and ITAS Administration, as well as other resource material relevant to NIMH staff and leadership. The HC Section advises and assists senior leadership and staff in all phases of administrative management under its purview, and develops, analyzes, and implements new or modified administrative policies and procedures.

Position Duties

This position will be a key part of the HC Section and will contribute in some or all of the following areas, depending on experience and interest: Performance Management/Performance Awards/Training, Exit Interviews, ITAS/Timekeeping Duties, Reasonable Accommodation Requests, Workforce Analytics (FEVS, Exit Interviews, Succession Planning, etc.), Training Coordination/Delivery, Student Loan Repayment Programs, and Workplace Flexibilities Programs.

Qualifications
