Using NIMH’s Education and Awareness Resources
These education and awareness resource pages contain social media messages, graphics, and videos that you and your organization can use on your own platforms (such as a website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and more) to provide access to research-based mental health information and raise awareness. Please use hashtag #shareNIMH on social media to be a part of the conversation.

Social Media Messages
The social media messages on these pages have been reviewed and approved by experts at NIMH. You can click on the Share on Facebook or Share on Twitter links to automatically populate the text into a post or tweet, or you can select the text and copy it to post on any other platform.
Some resource pages include links to past social media events (Twitter chats and Facebook Live events) that you can share on your own social media channels to continue the conversation around the event topic.
NIMH has created several videos that highlight the NIMH mission, scientific initiatives, and advances in the science of mental illnesses.
You can share these videos directly from YouTube on social media, embed them on your websites, show them at events, or send them via email with your community.
The resource pages provide links to relevant brochures, fact sheets, and eBooks, which you can download or print to share with your community. NIMH publications are available in English and Spanish, in print and online as PDFs, HTML, and eBook formats. Information about how to download and view eBooks is available in the Brochures and Fact Sheets section.
The NIMH Statistics section features interactive data visualization tools and sharing capabilities. This section includes statistics on prevalence and treatment utilization for mental illnesses, and possible consequences of mental illnesses, such as suicide and disability. You can customize and incorporate NIMH statistics into your own materials (such as presentations, fact sheets, and webpages). You can also share on social media, and feature statistics in support of specific health observances.
Hashtags are a way of tagging content to make it possible for others to easily find messages with a specific theme or content. Hashtags allow you to see how many people are engaging with your content on social media. If you use these resources, include #shareNIMH to help us track the use of this content.
