Suresh Dadiboyena, PhD
Dr. Suresh Dadiboyena has been a postdoctoral fellow since December 2012, working on the development of novel radiotracers for PET imaging in neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease and traumatic brain injury. He gained his PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry under the guidance of Professor Ashton T. Hamme II from Jackson State University in 2008. His graduate and postdoctoral research was in the areas of natural product total synthesis and methodology development, CNS-drug discovery therapeutics, and combinatorial chemistry. Before joining NIMH, he did research in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry at Reviva Pharmaceuticals Inc., and at Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies.
