Research Training Opportunities
Please contact Dr. Chudasama if you are interested in a postdoctoral research position in the Section of Behavioral Neuroscience. NIH offers postdoctoral training opportunities in the form of Postdoctoral Intramural Research Training Awards (IRTAs) and Visiting Fellowships for international students. For more information, see the NIMH Office of Fellowship Training website for Postdoctoral Programs.
The NIH Graduate Partnerships Program (GPP) is specifically designed to usher PhD graduate students into the Intramural Research Program (IRP) by forming institutional links or partnerships with national and international universities (see the NIMH Office of Fellowship Training website for Pre-doctoral Programs). Persons interested in obtaining a Ph.D. in the Section of Behavioral Neuroscience through the GPP program are encouraged to contact Dr. Chudasama.
The Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research (Postbac IRTA) training program is a great opportunity for recent college graduates to attain one to two years of biomedical relevant research experience that might facilitate graduate level studies in basic or medical research (see the NIMH Office of Fellowship Training website for Postbaccalaureate Programs).
Note: We are not recruiting any postbac IRTAs until Summer 2018
