BSC Counselor - Tatiana Pasternak, Ph.D.

Tatiana Pasternak, Ph.D. is a Professor of Neuroscience in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Rochester. Dr. Pasternak studies cortical mechanisms of visual perception and working memory. Her research involves recordings that allow simultaneous monitoring neuronal activity of many cells across interconnected cortical regions involved in cognitive and sensory processing. The goal is to identify neural codes and temporal dynamics that underlie maintenance and utilization of visual signals during goal directed behaviors.
