The Office for Research on Disparities and Global Mental Health in the Office of the Director of the United States National Institute of Mental Health and Grand Challenges Canada  will co-convene a workshop entitled, Transformative Opportunities For Solving the Grand Challenges in Global Mental Health on May 8-9, 2017, at the National Institutes of Health  campus, located in Bethesda, Maryland, U.S.

The workshop will bring together global mental health researchers, innovators, and other stakeholders to discuss exciting new research findings and strategic opportunities for addressing the six priority areas identified in the Grand Challenges in Global Mental Health initiative.
