Haley Harkins is a post-baccalaureate IRTA Fellow in the Section on Behavioral Neuroscience at the NIMH. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from American University in 2022. At American, she worked with Dr. Mark Laubach to study the neurobiology of decision-making in rodents. In her free time, Haley enjoys adventuring in the Adirondacks, hiking, skiing, and watching the occasional David Attenborough nature documentary.
