Michael B. Leventhal

Michael Leventhal is a Post-Baccalaureate fellow in the Section on Behavioral Neuroscience at the National Institute of Mental Health. He completed a Bachelors of Science in molecular and cellular biology and psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He conducted research in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Eubig investigating the effects of circadian disruption on attention, impulsivity, and cholinergic signaling and the laboratory of Dr. Eva Telzer examining how social processes influence the development of the adolescent brain. After completing his training at the NIH, Michael hopes to pursue PhD studies investigating the developmental bases of individual differences in socioemotional and executive functioning. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing the guitar, attending concerts, and playing videogames.
