Technology Development Branch

Overview

The Technology Development Branch of the Division of Data Science and Technology (DST) oversees a portfolio of grants and contracts related to developing new tools and technologies. The topics included in that portfolio focus primarily on new optical technologies, new magnetic resonance imaging technologies, new computational approaches to analyzing data, and advances and improvements for other devices and technology development approaches. 

Much of the Technology Development Branch’s portfolio is part of the BRAIN Initiative.
