• Live Chat
Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM ET
Everyone feels stressed from time to time, but some people may not cope as well as others. Long-term stress can lead to or worsen serious health problems, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, anxiety disorder, sleep disorders, and other illnesses. Research shows that mind and body approaches to maintaining your health and outlook can reduce or prevent these effects.
Kick off the New Year with a healthier you! Please join our Twitter chat with the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) on Thursday, January 28, 2016, to discuss stress management. Experts from NIMH and NCCIH will share the latest science on using complementary approaches to managing stress such as meditation, yoga, tai chi and other relaxation techniques.
If you have any questions, please send NCCIH or NIMH a tweet or email NIMHpress@nih.gov. See you on Twitter!
