Mei Han, Ph.D.
Mei earned her Ph.D. in Neurobiology in 2011 from Fudan University, where she studied the mechanisms underlying neuropathic pain sensation and pain-related negative emotion under the mentorship of Dr. Yuqiu Zhang. She then completed her postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins University with Dr. Tao Wang, where she combined molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and rodent behavioral approaches to investigate glutamate receptor signaling in neurodevelopmental disorders. In 2023, Mei joined Dr. Lee’s lab as a biologist, where she develops molecular approaches linking genetic identity to neuronal function.
