Harish Katti, Ph.D.

Research Fellow
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Bethesda, MD 20892
Dr. Katti joined the SCNI in 2021. Harish is a computer scientist turned neuroscientist and has a Ph.D. in computing from National University of Singapore. Harish is interested in all aspects of computer vision and biological vision. He is interested in understanding the neural mechanisms supporting naturalistic vision and visually guided behaviors in primates. He uses a broad range of methods including psychophysics, electrophysiology, fMRI and deep learning. He is also interested in translational research that deploys insights from vision research, to human health and wellbeing.
