Office of the Clinical Director Consultation Services

The Office of the Clinical Director provides consultation services through these entities:

Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Service: Provides psychiatric and psychological consultations for patients enrolled in clinical protocols at the NIH Clinical Center.

Neuropsychology Consult Service: Evaluates the cognitive and emotional functioning of patients at the NIH Clinical Center.

Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Phenotyping Service: Conducts developmental and behavioral evaluations on individuals with a variety of neurodevelopmental problems, focusing on young children and individuals of all ages with significant cognitive or social impairments.

Sleep and Neurodevelopment Service: Incorporate sleep metrics into the comprehensive assessment of neuropsychiatric illness and neurodevelopmental disorders in patients at the NIH Clinical Center.

Autoimmune Brain Disorders Program: Provides consultation services for both pediatric and adult patients who are being evaluated in the NIH Clinical Center when a neuroinflammatory or autoimmune condition is suspected as being the cause of their neuropsychiatric symptoms.
