MHSR 2018: New Investigators Workshop

The NIMH Division of Services and Intervention Research hosted a post-conference workshop for Early Stage Investigators (ESI) in conjunction with the 24th Mental Health Services Research Conference, “Advancing the Science and Impact of Mental Health Services Research: What’s the Next Big Thing?” Thirty highly promising ESIs, selected from a large pool of competitive applicants, presented posters at the main conference and attended a full-day post-conference New Investigators Workshop. During the Workshop, the ESIs heard presentations from experts at NIMH and academia focused on successfully navigating the process of NIMH grant submissions and met in small groups to receive individualized feedback on their concepts for future grant applications.
