Shizhe Steve Li, PhD

Dr. Shizhe Steve Li is a staff scientist in the Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Core of the Molecular Imaging Branch (MIB). He received his BS in Physics at Tsinghua University in 1982 and his PhD in Physics at The City University of New York in 1992. He did postdoctoral training at Hershey Medical Center of Penn State University and later became a research associate there. In 1997, he joined GE Medical Systems as an RF engineer and became an RF project engineer. In 2000, he joined IGC-Medical Advances Inc. leading the Applied Science Laboratory with an adjunct appointment of Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He became a staff scientist in NIMH in 2002.
