Orientation for NIMH Fellows and Trainees
All new NIMH employees including federal employees (GS and T-42s), fellows, contractors, and volunteers are required to complete orientation before beginning to work.
NIMH new staff orientation
The Office of Fellowship Training provides orientation for all new NIMH employees including federal employees (GS and T-42s), fellows, contractors and volunteers—all should attend this orientation. Orientations are offered monthly on a Monday at the beginning of a full-time equivalent (FTE) pay period. Please contact Aneka Reid and Dr. Janet Clark with any questions.
Human resources orientation
The Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides a monthly orientation specifically for all new federal employees (FTEs). Sessions usually are from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. See the orientation calendar , and the agenda .
OITE fellows’ orientation
The Office of Intramural Training & Education (OITE) provides an orientation for the Post Bac, Summer and Postdoctoral/Graduate Student community. This is a great opportunity for trainees to get valuable information and ask questions about their fellowship. A schedule of these sessions can be viewed on the OITE Upcoming Events page.
