NIMH Sponsored Fellows’ Tax Seminars
The NIMH Office of Fellowship Training hosts a Tax Seminar biannually for fellows (Post Bac, PreDoc, Post Doc, Student IRTA) interested in learning about the IRTA tax process. A certified tax specialist explains the filing requirements for fellows along with their unique tax category and allows time for inquiries. This seminar is offered twice a year. NIH Intramural Student Loan Repayment Program (LRP)
The NIH Student Loan Repayment Program (LRP) is for those appointed as NIH employees including Research and Clinical Fellows. Contact: Dr. Janet Clark
NIMH Fellowship Verification
Fellows may need a verification for a variety of things like loan deferment, home/auto and employment verification: please contact Aneka Reid to obtain your fellowship verification letter.
Visiting Fellow Travel Verification Letter
Visiting fellows need a travel letter from the institute to confirm their appointment when traveling outside of the U.S for personal or professional reasons. This travel letter must accompany all other immigration documents while on travel in order to be granted reentry (See DIS site for more information on travel guidelines). Please contact Aneka Reid to obtain a travel verification letter prior to your scheduled trip.
