Suicide Risk Algorithm Applications in Healthcare Settings

On June 5th (from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and 6th (from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), investigators will meet to identify and prioritize research needs in the application of predictive analytics using electronic health records in suicide prevention. The following topics will be considered by participants at the workshop:

  • Biostatistical challenges
  • Provider and patient understanding of risk algorithms
  • Ethical considerations
  • Needs for clinical decision tools to guide risk algorithm application
  • Policy-relevant research
