Yonathan Seyoum

Yonathan is a senior at Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School and his interest in neuroscience stems from a deeply personal experience witnessing his grandmother's battle with Alzheimer's disease. Observing this condition's profound effects on her life and their family inspired him to delve into the realm of neuroscience. Fascinated by the relationship between various brain structures and cognitive abilities he is driven to acquire knowledge that will enable him to serve as a dedicated medical practitioner to make a meaningful difference in individuals who have faced similar challenges as his grandmother.
