Dr. Morkeh Blay-Tofey graduated from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Medicine with an M.D. and an M.B.A. in Health Organization Management. He transferred from Texas A&M-Baylor Scott and White Health to NIMH to complete his fourth year of residency in July 2023. He is currently a PGY4 resident at NIMH, working with Dr. Silvia Lopez-Guzman and Dr. Daniel Pine in the Unit on Computational Decision Neuroscience.

Dr. Hiroe Hu received her Doctor of Osteopathy from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020 after completing a gap research year from 2018-2019. In July 2023, she transferred to NIMH from Medstar Georgetown University Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry. She is currently working under the mentorship of Dr. Carlos Zarate in the Experimental Therapeutics and Pathophysiology Branch.

Dr. Gregory Jones received his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UT Health in 2019. Dr. Jones completed his fourth year of residency at McGovern Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry on the research track. His current work and research interests align closely with those of his NIMH mentor, Dr. Carlos Zarate. Dr. Jones joined the Experimental Therapeutics and Pathophysiology Branch in July 2023.

Dr. Tyler Torrico received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica in 2020. Dr. Torrico transferred from UCLA Kern Medical Center in the Psychiatry Residency Program to NIMH to complete his final year of residency. He currently works under the mentorship of Dr. Sarah ‘Holly’ Lisanby and Dr. William Regenold in the Noninvasive Neuromodulation Unit.

Dr. Paul Parcon received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in 2018, as well as his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences, Aging Biology. Dr. Parcon is currently a PGY 6 at NIMH and is set to complete his Clinical Fellowship in June 2024. He has been working under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Innis in the Molecular Imaging Branch since 2021.

Dr. Jenny Jean received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, NY in 2019. She transferred from the University of Illinois at Chicago Psychiatry Residency program to NIMH to complete her final year of residency. She is currently a PGY 5 working closely with Dr. Philip Shaw in the Social and Behavioral Research Branch.

Dr. Constance Zou received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in 2019 and her M.A. from NYU in Bioethics. She transferred from the Medical University of South Carolina Psychiatry Department to the NIMH. She is currently a PGY5 Clinical Fellow working with Dr. Peter Schmidt in the Behavioral Endocrinology Branch.

Dr. Adam Fijtman received his medical degree and Ph.D. in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. He transferred from Duke University School of Medicine Psychiatry Residency to NIMH in 2022. He is currently a PGY5 Clinical Fellow working with Dr. Carlos Zarate in the Experimental Therapeutics and Pathophysiology Branch.
