How is COVID-19 Affecting Mental Health?

This research study seeks to learn how COVID-19 is affecting mental health. If you are 18 years old or older and speak English, we invite you to participate in an online research study. We know this is a challenging and uncertain time, and we want to learn more about how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting people across a wide range of communities and their loved ones.

The online research study includes completing online questionnaires every two weeks, for 6 months. Questionnaires take about 20 minutes to complete. You must be at least 18 years old to participate. Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time. Compensation is not provided. You do not need to have participated in research studies before.

The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Anxiety and Motivation

Researchers hope to better understand changes in emotional reactions and assess motivation in people during this stressful pandemic. We hope to understand the way these changes are different for people suffering from anxiety or mood disorders, and people who do not.

Participation involves completing online questionnaires and a computer task twice (first time, and again in 8 months.) Participation each time takes about an hour. Anyone at least 18 years old can participate. Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time. Compensation is provided.
