Researchers are looking for healthy volunteers to help us learn more about how the brain works. We need to learn more about how the brain works so that we can learn more about how brains work in people with mood and anxiety disorders.

This study is looking for volunteers ages 18 to 65 years old who are medically healthy and do not have a current or past history of psychiatric illnesses. Volunteers will complete questionnaires, undergo brain scans, and participate in other procedures. This is an outpatient study with 1-3 visits.

The study is conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. First steps to participate include calling NIMH, learning study details, asking about eligibility, and consenting to participate. There is no cost to participate. Compensation is provided. Transportation costs will be reimbursed.
